Our Clinic
The Waregem Weight Clinic is situated in Waregem, Belgium, and is part of the O.L.V. Van Lourdes Hospital. In 2017 our hospital attained the international NIAZ-Qmentum quality label for excellent healthcare service and safety.
Our clinic has served patients from all over the world. We perform the most current bariatric procedures, including the gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy.
We are also one of the first centers in Belgium to perform the endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, a procedure using an endoscopic suturing device to reduce stomach volume without the need for classical surgery.

Dr. Christopher Lange
At the Waregem Weight Clinic all bariatric procedures are performed by Dr. Christopher Lange.
Dr. Christopher Lange completed his surgical training at the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands, he specialised in general and abdominal surgery. Subsequently he was surgical fellow at the University Hospital of Leuven in Belgium where he gained extensive experience in laparoscopic and bariatric procedures. In addition Dr. Lange specializes in endoscopic procedures such as the endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty.
In 2015 Dr. Lange founded the Waregem Weight Clinic as part of the surgical department of the O.L.V. Van Lourdes Hospital in Waregem.
